Asus ExpertBook P1 is a decent business laptop that checks all the basic features to be a reliable device for all your business tasks. While the laptop doesn’t have a flashy design, it is portable to carry, powerful enough to run all your business tasks, has decent battery life, and has plenty of ports to connect external devices. However, the dull display, the plastic chassis, and the weak battery life disappointed me during the 15 days of my time with it. For the asking price of around Rs 73,000/-, this laptop can be a decent pick if those cons are not a deal breaker for you.

It’s quite difficult to judge as the ExpertBook is meant to be tiered according to the role in the company. Different roles in the company will have different needs – so the ExpertBook series is meant to fulfill all those different roles with many different types of laptops.

If you are a professional and wants to buy a no-nonsense laptop, then ASUS ExpertBook P1 gets the job done with its 13th Gen Intel i7 processor paired with 32GB of DDR5 RAM. The laptop checks a lot of the right boxes. However, the chipset is not technically the latest-gen anymore, but the price and for the kind of usage it’s built for, I am not really complaining. The display could have been more vibrant, but it’s not the point that stopped me from using the laptop. ASUS ExpertBook P1 is not here to impress with its specs on paper, but it surely did impress me on the real-work side and that’s exactly what I was looking in a laptop.

At a price point of Rs. 72,990, the ASUS ExpertBook P1 offers a compelling package for business users seeking a reliable and efficient laptop. With its 13th-Gen Intel Core i7-13620H processor, 32GB of DDR5 RAM, and 512GB SSD, it ensures smooth multitasking and quick data access. The laptop’s lightweight design, comprehensive port selection, and business-centric features like a fingerprint sensor and TPM 2.0 chip make it a practical choice for professionals who prioritise performance and security without breaking the bank. Its direct competitor would be the Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 5, which is priced similarly and comes with a 13th Gen Intel Core i5-1335U processor, 16GB RAM, and a 512GB SSD. While the ThinkPad series is renowned for its robust build quality and excellent keyboards, the ExpertBook P1 offers a more powerful processor and double the RAM, providing better performance for multitasking and demanding applications.

14.00:
14 inch display size represents a middle ground between the small subnotebook formats and the screens of the standard 15 inch laptops.
The reason for the popularity of mid-sized displays is that this size is reasonably easy on the eyes, provides good resolutions with usable detail sizes, yet does not consume too much power and the devices can still be reasonably compact.
In the past, 14-inch devices were very rare, but now they are the standard for laptops after the 15-inchers.

77.53%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
