AMD Radeon 740M: Integrated graphics card in the Ryzen 7040 mobile series APUs based on the RDNA3 architecture with 4 of the 12 CUs (= 256 shaders) and a clock speed of up to 2.5 GHz.

R5 220: A mid-range laptop chip that saw the light of day in early 2025. This Hawk Point family processor isn't actually a new processor; instead, it's a rebadged Ryzen 5 8540U and Ryzen 5 7545U. As such, the R5 has two Zen 4 cores and four Zen 4c cores working together under the same roof. The six cores run at 3.2 GHz to 4.9 GHz and are all SMT-enabled for 12 processing threads. The R5 220 has no Ryzen AI NPU.» Further information can be found in our Comparison of Mobile Processsors.

There are hardly any tablets in this display size range anymore. For subnotebooks, on the other hand, it is the standard format.
The advantage of subnotebooks is that the entire laptop can be small and therefore easily portable. The smaller display also has the advantage of requiring less power, which further improves battery life and thus mobility. The disadvantage is that reading texts is more strenuous on the eyes. High resolutions are more likely to be found in standard laptops.
