MagyarAssassin's Creed Syndicate available for free for a limited time
Ubisoft is giving away Assassin's Creed Syndicate to anyone who secures the game on the promotion page between November 27 and December 6. To get the game, you need to log in with a Ubisoft Connect account, which can be created for free.
In order to download and start the game, Ubisoft Connect must also be installed on your PC. To play Assassin's Creed Syndicate smoothly, Ubisoft recommends at least an Intel Core i7-3770 and an Nvidia GeForce GTX 760 or an AMD Radeon R9 280X – not particularly demanding, which is mainly due to the age of the game, as Assassin's Creed Syndicate was released in October 2015.
With a Metascore of 74 out of a possible 100 points, the reviews of critics are rather mixed, which is mainly due to the fact that Syndicate didn't change the familiar Assassin's Creed formula all that much and throws players into an open world with countless collectable items and few relevant side quests.
However, the setting in Victorian London and the rather stylish graphics (at the time) garnered a lot of praise, so a free download may well be worthwhile for fans of the series or fans of open-world action adventures. The game takes up around 40 GB of hard drive space. Assassin's Creed Syndicate currently costs $7.49 on Steam. The Jack the Ripper expansion is not included in the current free version, but is currently on offer at Ubisoft Connect for just $4.50 instead of the list price of $14.99.
