- 1 GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6735P SoC (ARM Cortex-A53)
- ARM Mali-T720 MP3 GPU
- 1 GB RAM
- 8 GB eMMC w/ MicroSD slot (shared with second SIM slot)
- 8 MP rear w/ Flash + 2 MP front cameras
- Android 5.1 Lollipop
- Dual SIM support
- 2000 mAh battery
The French manufacturer recently announced the 50 Power smartphone, which carries very similar specifications to the 50 Cobalt but with a 100 percent larger battery capacity of 4000 mAh for potentially double the battery life. More mainstream models were announced at MWC 2016 including the Oxygen and Diamond models.

After graduating with a B.S. in environmental hydrodynamics from the University of California, I studied reactor physics to become licensed by the U.S. NRC to operate nuclear reactors. There's a striking level of appreciation you gain for everyday consumer electronics after working with modern nuclear reactivity systems astonishingly powered by computers from the 80s.
