MECHREVO has posted an interesting image on its Weibo account that appears to corroborate April 2 as the announcement date for Nvidia’s SUPER mobile GPUs and Intel’s 10th Gen processors. We already reported on the likelihood, and laptops have started appearing on benchmarks sporting the heady combination of an Nvidia SUPER mobile GPU and the latest 10th Gen parts from Intel (Comet Lake-H).
Strangely enough, it seems MECHREVO has a habit of letting the cat out of the bag, as it was the same company that “accidentally” revealed mobile variants of the Nvidia GeForce GTX 16 series alongside Intel’s 9th Gen CPUs around the same time last year. Instead of an image of a couple of laptops, this time around we have some marketing material (see below) from the company that is much less ambiguous.
The image was posted online on March 23, hence the large green “10” in the center of the image – 10 days from March 23 to April 2. Of course, it’s very easy to also interpret that as a hint at Intel’s 10th Gen processors, as why would the OEM choose the number “10” otherwise? Obviously the presence of the Nvidia name, logo, and the overall green design strongly hints at the presence of Nvidia SUPER mobile GPUs. It’s believed MECHREVO will unveil a Z3 gaming laptop on April 2, which could be one of the first devices to join the ranks of the Nvidia SUPER gaming laptops.
