Apple is preparing for M4 MacBook Pro launch, production ramped up
Apple hosted the ‘It’s Glowtime’ event last month, launching the iPhone 16 series, new AirPods and also a new Watch. No MacBooks or iPads showed up.
However, there haму been online speculations of a possibility of Apple hosting a yet another event in October, one that would result in new MacBook Pro models getting unveiled (as well as new Mac minis) that would be powered by the latest M4 series chips.
While the speculated event has not been confirmed by Apple, it looks we will finally see the new MacBook Pros release very soon.
According to a recent DigiTimes report, Apple is gearing up to launch new MacBook Pro M4 models in October 2024, which are said to bring about a temporary boost to the sluggish notebook market.
This trend is evident in the revenue reports from component manufacturers such as Jarllytec and Shin Zu Shing for September
the report stated, indicating an increase in shipments is expected due to Apple’s upcoming launch.
In addition to MacBook Pro M4 models, Apple is also expected to take the wraps off at least one Mac mini with an M4 chip. Its visual design is expected to be vastly different from the models on sale nowsive redesign. The upcoming mini PC is said to be the size of an Apple TV.
In case you missed it, Apple announced the launch of iPad Mini 7 yesterday (Oct 15). This new iPad is the successor to the iPad Mini 6 (curr. $379.99 on Amazon), which was released back in 2021. Apple is already accepting pre-orders for the iPad Mini 7.
