Apple Watch Series 12: Users complain of painful skin irritation

The Apple Watch Series 12 ($399 on Amazon) and the Apple Watch Ultra 4 have received only minor design changes, but Apple has completely redesigned the back. The new flagship smartwatches feature a significantly larger metal surface that serves as an electrode for the ECG.
Apple also includes a new heart rate and SpO2 sensor with larger LEDs. These changes apparently cause skin irritation for some users. On the MacRumors forum and on Reddit, several users report red skin caused by the Apple Watch. Some of the affected users say they had no problems whatsoever with other watches or even with older Apple Watch models.
While the skin irritation in the images looks moderate, it is associated with pain for at least some users. Apple Support recommends that affected users stop wearing the Apple Watch and, in many cases, offers a free return and a refund. In general, Apple recommends keeping both the smartwatch and the skin beneath the sensors as clean and dry as possible, and making sure that the smartwatch is neither too tight nor too loose.
Judging by the small number of user reports, this problem is not particularly widespread. However, anyone buying an Apple Watch Series 12 or an Apple Watch Ultra 4 should watch out for skin irritation and stop wearing the smartwatch if an unwanted skin reaction occurs.
Is it just me or the Apple Watch series 12 be giving Everyone else a burn on their wrists ?
