Thousands of users are reporting issues with Apple Pay today. Some are unable to transfer money, while others can't make payments. While Apple has confirmed there's an ongoing issue affecting Apple Cash, it hasn't shared when the service will be fully restored.

If you're having trouble using Apple Pay right now, don’t worry, you're not alone. There currently seems to be a problem affecting Apple's services, with thousands of users reporting that they can't make payments.

Reports started appearing on Downdetector around an hour ago, and at the time of writing, more than 1,300 users have reported problems. Many users have also taken to social media to report that Apple Pay is not working properly for them. While some are unable to transfer money, others say they can't complete payments using the service.

Initially, Apple's System Status page showed that all services were operating normally despite the growing number of complaints. However, it has now been updated to show an ongoing issue affecting Apple Cash.

It is still unclear what caused the outage or whether it is affecting all regions. Apple has not shared any additional details about the issue or provided an estimate for when everything will be working normally again.

If you're unable to make payments or send money through Apple Pay or Apple Cash, the only thing you can do for now is wait for Apple to restore the service. Since the issue appears to be server-side, there's nothing users can do on their devices to fix it.
