Anker Outlet Extender (10-in-1, 20W) now available
Anker has launched the Outlet Extender (10-in-1, 20W) at Amazon US. The company describes its new product as ultra-thin, only 1.19 inches (~30 mm) thick at its maximum. Anker indicates that this design could help you save space and reduce the chances of it being knocked.
As its name indicates, the Outlet Extender offers ten ports: two USB-C ports, two USB-A ports and six AC outlets. The two USB-C outputs offer up to 20W and 15W with sole use; Anker suggests that 20W would let you charge an iPhone 15 to 53% in 30 minutes. When both USB-C outputs are in use, the ports share 15W. The two USB-A ports offer 12W when used alone, with the power shared when both outputs are used simultaneously.
The AC outlets are angled at 15° with wide spacing for ease of use; other features include a seven-point safety system with 300 Joules surge protection. Plus, the device comes with an 18-month warranty as well as a $200,000 connected equipment warranty. The accessory has a white casing and measures 6.32 x 3.13 x inches (~16.05 x 7.95 x 3.02 mm). The Anker Outlet Extender (10-in-1, 20W) retails at Amazon US for $25.99. It is unclear whether or when other versions of the device, for markets like the UK and EU, could launch.
