Samsung's Android 10-based One UI 2.0 rollout continues; this time with its mid-range phones, the Galaxy A40 and A80. Both phones are now receiving the One UI 2.0 update with all the typical features like system-wide dark mode and new navigation gestures.

With its flagship phones sorted out, Samsung has expanded the Android 10-based One UI 2.0 rollout to its mid-range and sub-premium lineups. The Galaxy A50s and Galaxy A30 received the Android 10 update a few weeks ago and now, two more A-series phones are getting their taste of Android 10 and One UI 2.0 goodness.

Owners of the Galaxy A40 are now confirming receipt of the Android 10 update. The update comes with the version number BTB8, although some users of the phone may receive a BTB7 build. It doubles up as the March security patch and is a circa 1.7 GB download.

The Galaxy A80 is also getting its share of Android 10. The update carries the build number BTC3 and is now rolling out to owners in India. Europe is likely to follow shortly, since a European build is already manually downloadable from Samsung's firmware servers. The update weighs in at 2.04 GB and doubles up as the February security patch.
