Anbernic's first Snapdragon-powered handheld is now available on Amazon

A few months ago, Anbernic released its first handheld powered by a Qualcomm processor. The handheld, which is sold as the Anbernic RG 55G1, is now available to buy on Amazon.
The Anbernic RG 55G1 has a design that is reminiscent of the Nintendo Switch Lite and is available in two configurations — a 4GB RAM + 64GB version and an 8GB RAM + 128GB version. Pricing for the two configurations are $149.99 and $174.99 respectively, although, Anbernic offers buyers a $10 discount on its website.
Now, interested buyers can also purchase it on Amazon, albeit at a more expensive price. The 4GB RAM version sells for 179.99 while the 8GB RAM version costs $219.99. Both configurations are available in Black, Gray, and Indigo.
While these prices are definitely higher on Amazon, it is worth mentioning that you get free shipping for both configurations, whereas the prices on Anbernic's website doesn't include shipping costs.
The Anbernic RG 55G1 has a 5.5-inch IPS LCD panel with a 1920 × 1080 resolution and a 60Hz refresh rate. It has a Snapdragon G1 Gen 2 processor, and packs a 6,000mAh battery with support for 18W charging. The Android 14-powered handheld has Hall Effect sticks with RGB rings, Hall Effect triggers, a six-axis gyroscope, and a cooling fan.
It also has an audio jack, a USB-C port for charging and date transfer, stereo speakers, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, and a microSD card slot for up to an additional 2TB of storage.
Anbernic's handheld is capable of running Android games and emulating consoles such as the Wii, PS2, and GameCube. It also handles PS Vita games pretty well, albeit at native resolution.
