The Ayn Odin 3 Portal has been showcased in a new video, and through this, the company has confirmed some of the core specs of the gaming handheld. It will be powered by a performance-focused Qualcomm SoC and a large 9,000mAh battery.

Ayn recently announced the Odin 3 Portal, set to be the larger sibling of the non-Portal model that was released in late November 2025. Now, the company has showcased the gaming handheld in a new video, which shares some of the core specs of the device.

One of them is the SoC, and Ayn has confirmed that the gaming handheld will be powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon Q8, which is essentially identical to the Snapdragon 8 Elite. It's paired with an active cooling system that's said to have a quiet fan. Combined with the right turnip driver, this SoC can run a handful of non-modern AAA PC games smoothly through emulation.

Another major spec that was revealed in the video is that the Odin 3 Portal will feature a 9,000mAh battery, a notable bump from the 8,000mAh battery found in the non-Portal gaming handheld. Even with a relatively large battery, Ayn says that the device is geared for comfort, coming with a lightweight design.

Specifically, the Odin 3 Portal is said to be around 450 grams (about 0.99lbs), which is about half the weight of Windows gaming handhelds like the Legion Go 2 (lighter Legion Go S with SteamOS curr. $999.99 on Lenovo). Of course, the non-Portal was lighter due to its smaller form factor, weighing 390 grams (around 0.86lbs).

Among the other notable aspects revealed in the video are Hall Effect joysticks and anti-fingerprint AG glass. Ayn still hasn't said anything about the gaming handheld's launch timeline, but given that it has started sharing teasers, the Odin 3 Portal could be released soon.
