Anbernic pushes new UI update to its RG XX handhelds
While brands such as AYN and Retroid seem to have chosen not to provide software updates for their devices, Anbernic has been churning out updates after updates for its handhelds. The latest update rolling out isn't just to one device, but several handhelds under its RG XX series.
According to a video posted by the official Anbernic YouTube account, the new update is being pushed to all models in the RG XX series. The said update brings a new theme called MU 2, which has a “more intuitive menu layout” and “a more convenient user experience”.
The video shows some notable changes such as easy access to the settings menu by pressing the M button and bringing up the quick search menu by pressing the Y button. Users will also be able to switch between the primary menu using the L1 and R1 button, while the D-pad controls the sub-menus which are now in a horizontal layout. The update also brings a new font and a better organized game list.
