Allwei 2000 Pro portable solar power station has 2,264 Wh capacity and 100 W charging
The Allwei 2000 Pro Portable Power Station is currently crowdfunding on Kickstarter. The device has a 2,264 Wh capacity with a maximum power output of 2,200 W, making it suitable to power smaller machines like a microwave, mini fridge or kettle. The company claims that after 1,500 cycles, the lithium-ion battery will retain over 80% of its original capacity.
There are 13 output ports on the 2000 Pro, such as a 2000 W AC output, a 100 W PD USB-C port and an 18 W USB QC 3.0 port. An LCD shows you real-time information such as battery capacity and AC output power. Safety features of the power station include protection against short circuiting, overvoltage and overheating.
The gadget has a built-in MPPT solar charging controller with up to 99% conversion efficiency. This allows the power station to support charging from up to four solar panels at up to 800 W. The 2000 Pro takes around four hours to charge from the panels or six hours via an AC adapter. The portable power station is compact and lightweight, measuring 38 x 22 x 26 cm (~15 x 9 x 10-in) and weighing 16.9 kg (~37.3 lbs).
You can currently receive the Allwei 2000 Pro Portable Power Station when you pledge HK$10,977 (~US$1,399) to the Kickstarter campaign; the device is expected to retail for US$1,899 in the future. It’s worth noting that the company is only shipping to the US, with deliveries expected in November.
