ASUS ROG Zephyrus G14: 2022 model is already available to order with Ryzen 9 6900HS, Radeon RX 6800S and a 16:10 display
AMD may have only just revealed more details about the Ryzen 6000 series, but ASUS is already accepting pre-orders for the Ryzen 9 6900HS-powered ROG Zephyrus G14. Currently, the ROG Zephyrus G14 (2022) is orderable in Europe, but not the US. Also, ASUS is allowing people to pre-order one SKU; eventually, the ROG Zephyrus G14 (2022) will be available with different memory, display, processor and GPU configurations.
As it stands, ASUS is taking orders for the GA402RK-L8032W, a €2,299 SKU that features a Ryzen 9 6900HS, RX 6800S, 32 GB of DDR5 RAM and 1 TB of PCIe 4.0 storage. Additionally, the SKU has a 2,560 x 1,600 display that operates at 120 Hz and 500 nits. In other words, the GA402RK-L8032W is ASUS' flagship ROG Zephyrus G14 (2022) SKU.
This year's ROG Zephyrus G14 offers more upgrades than those listed above, though. Specifically, ASUS has reduced the bottom display bezel this time around, while enlarging the trackpad by 50%. Moreover, the ROG Zephyrus G14 now comes with Dolby Atmos-certified speakers, an RGB-backlit keyboard and a higher resolution AnimeMatrix display.
The ROG Zephyrus G14 now supports up to 100 W charging over USB Type-C too. Previously, the ROG Zephyrus G14 could only recharge at 65 W. ASUS will begin shipping the new ROG Zephyrus G14 on March 28.
