ASUS PadFone Infinity launches in Taiwan; available in three striking colors
When ASUS took the wraps off their PadFone Infinity at MWC last month, they teased with its splendid display but announced that it would originally be available only in Taiwan. That announcement has now come to fruition, as the hybrid smartphone-tablet has been made officially available.
Upon its original announcement ASUS only showed off a Titanium-Gray model, but their official lineup is decidedly more female friendly. In addition to the Titanium-Gray, the PadFone Infinity is also available in Champagne Gold and Hot Pink colors, concealing the powerful Snapdragon 600 CPU on the inside. Furthermore, both the 5" smartphone and the 10.1" tablet feature vibrant displays, with 1920x1080 and 1920x1200 pixel resolutions respectively.
The device will be available under contract from each of China Telecom, Taiwan Mobile and Far EasTone but will also be sold separately. The 32GB model will retail for 20,990 NT (~700 USD) while the 64GB model comes in at 22,990 NT (~770USD). The base tablet will also be available for purchase separately, starting at a mere 7000 NT (~230 USD).
ASUS has yet to announce when the PadFone Infinity will make its way stateside, but that day should be sometime in the coming month or two.
