Clambook turns your existing notebook into a "Padfone"
A new accessory for your Smartphone is on its way to the market called the Clambook. This device lets the users use their phones as a notebook. It provides a complete big display, with a full sized keyboard, touchpad and speakers. So far it is expected to work with the iPhone and Android Smartphones.
This device might start shipping by the holiday season, however nothing has been declared till now. Basically this device is like a notebook without any CPU, memory or storage. It uses the Smartphone as the machine's brain for any processing.
According to these details we can say that the Clambook might be a bit similar to Motorola Webtop or Asus Padfone. It is actually connected to the Smartphone via an MHL cable and will act as a second screen to display all the applications and games and other media on your phone. Till now nothing much is known about the Clambook, so we have to wait for its release to have further details about the accessory.
