Disgo 8400G 3G Android tablet arrives in the UK for £149.99

Irish-based electronics manufacturer Disgo will be launching a new 3G-enabled tablet in the United Kingdom. The budget mobile device is dubbed 8400G and runs on an Android 4.1 Jelly Bean operating system. Reportedly, the system will be available next month from online (and offline) retailers in the UK and will carry a £150 price-tag.

According to the firm, the 8400G model is equipped with a dual-core Qualcomm Snapdragon S4 central processing unit clocked at 1.2GHz and an Adreno 203 2D/3D graphics chip. In addition, it sports a 7.9-inch capacitive touchscreen display of 1024-by-768 pixels native resolution, 512MB of low-voltage DDR2 RAM and 4GB of flash storage (up to 64GB via the microSDHC/SDXC card slot).

Beneath the HD panel, the tablet features 3G and Wireless LAN 802.11 b/g/n antennas, built-in GPS receiver, a SIM card slot and two stereo speakers. Users are further provided with one mini-USB port (OTG), a 4800mAh battery that lasts for up to 8 hours on a single charge and dual cameras – a 2MP rear shooter and a 0.3MP front-facing web camera for video conferencing.
