Deal | AMD Ryzen 9 Asus Zephyrus G14 keeps getting discounted, now down to just $1200 USD for Core i9 level of performance
The Asus Zephyrus G14 launched all the way back in March with a hefty price tag of 1900 USD. Ever since then, prices have been gradually dropping without needing to cut RAM or storage to meet the sale price. As of this writing, the laptop is down to $1200 USD to make it an excellent deal considering the hardware you're getting in a 14-inch form factor.
The Zephyrus G14 is notable for being one of the only laptops equipped with the octa-core Ryzen 9 4900HS. This particular CPU is faster than most Core i9 laptops that are over twice the size of the ultra-thin Zephyrus G14. If your workloads can benefit from all that CPU horsepower, then this small Asus laptop will surprise you.
A notable drawback to the Zephyrus G14 is its loud fan noise. Evidently, cramming all that processing power and GPU power into a small 14-inch laptop has its consequences. The spongy clickpad and lack of Thunderbolt 3 can also be an annoyance when traveling or docking. See our full take on the laptop here to learn more about all the pros and cons.
