Folks who are familiar with quality OLED TVs will certainly have the LG C4 lineup on their radar. The 77-inch variant is unsurprisingly quite expensive, although frequent discounts do help a lot in making the excellent TV more affordable. Greentoe's ongoing sale does just that, courtesy of a whopping ~51% discount that brings the 77-inch LG C4 down to just $1,799 from its official list price of $3699.

According to RTINGS' review of the LG C4, the OLED TV performs admirably well in nearly every aspect. Of course, the C4 boasts all the benefits of an OLED panel, such as true blacks allowing for an excellent HDR experience, near-infinite contrast, quick response times, and excellent color reproduction. Color accuracy is excellent both pre- and post-calibration, and the same goes for the TV's reflection handling and viewing angles. With a peak HDR brightness of 905 nits at a 10% window, the C4 performs perfectly well in well-lit environments, although the ABL does somewhat hinder the experience in large bright scenes, which fail to get as bright.

Being an OLED, however, the fear of permanent panel burn-in will undoubtedly be a factor that may hold back cautious buyers from pulling the trigger, especially those who plan on viewing content with lots of static elements. Gamers will be pleased with the LG C4, thanks to its 144 Hz refresh rate paired with extremely low response times and a superb HDR gaming experience. The TV features four HDMI ports, all of which utilize the HDMI 2.1 standard. The LG C4 does have a built-in speaker, the quality of which is nothing to write home about. That is not a deal-breaker though, since most folks would likely splurge on a decent sound bar when purchasing a premium TV (LG S90TR currently $796 on Amazon).

All told, at its current price, the 77-inch LG C4 OLED TV brings excellent value to the table for the vast majority of people on the lookout for an OLED upgrade to their home theatre setups. Greentoe's offer is time-limited in nature with limited stocks. Therefore, interested buyers are advised to act swiftly.
