NeocoreGames' gothic-steampunk ARPG, The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut folds the entire trilogy + DLC into one 50-hour campaign with 6 classes. It's 90% off, down from $44.99 — the cheapest it has been on Steam. If you own all three original games, you can still claim it for free.

The Incredible Adventures of Van Helsing: Final Cut has fallen to $4.49 on Steam. This comes out to a 90% discount from $44.99 and the lowest price it has been in US dollars, although it has seen the same discount previously as well. The promotion runs until 8 October.

Released in 2015 by Budapest studio NeocoreGames (later known for Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor – Martyr), Final Cut is more of a consolidation than a sequel. It brings all three Van Helsing games and their downloadable content together into a single continuous campaign past 50 hours. The game is set in the gothic-noir kingdom of Borgovia.

The reworking is much more than just surface-level redesign. All six classes are available from the start, where the original games gave you three. Skill trees have been reorganized, level progression has been rebalanced across the combined campaign, and the tower-defense segments that divided players in the originals were made optional. Also, a new endgame mode adds open missions beyond the story.

Steam users have rated it it "Mostly Positive" at 76% of 1,960 reviews, and Metacritic sits at 79 across ten critics. The main sticking point among longtime players is the revised skill system, which some consider a step down from the trilogy's original design. Characters from the earlier games cannot be imported.

Also, you should know that owners of all three original Van Helsing games can simply redeem Final Cut free through NeocoreGames' own site. They don't have to buy it, and that offer has remained active for years.

Hardware demands are quite trivial by modern standards — a GeForce 8800 at minimum, going up to a GTX 560 — though the optional high-res texture pack pushes the memory requirement to 6 GB. The game is Windows-only and not Steam Deck verified.
