Deal | 2025 Hyundai Ioniq 5 lease deal: $149/month for 318-mile driving range

Electric SUVs with more than 300 miles of driving range often command high prices, but Hyundai is letting its customers drive off with one on more affordable terms. The company is running a special lease promo on the 2025 Ioniq 5 compact SUV in the US.

Until the end of September, the Ioniq 5 SE RWD is available for lease for as low as $149 per month in the US. The contract is for 24 months with $4,999 due at signing. Qualified lessees can take advantage of the $500 Military Program or $400 College Grad Program for further savings.

Customers, however, should note that dealer contribution for this deal varies and can affect the final monthly lease payment. The car can be purchased at the end of the contract at a price negotiated at the time of signing.

The 2025 Hyundai Ioniq SE RWD starts at $46,650. It has an 84 kWh battery that can last up to 318 miles and charge from 10 to 80 percent in about 30 minutes on DC fast chargers (including Tesla’s Superchargers). A rear-mounted electric motor produces 225 hp of power.

Other highlights include a 12.3-inch touchscreen for accessing settings and infotainment, Apple CarPlay, Android Auto, 26.3 cubic feet of cargo space, and 0.85 cubic feet of frunk (front trunk).

Various reviewers appreciated the new NACS charging port, panoramic sunroof, redesigned center console, spacious premium interior, and unique styling. However, the cons include a seeming lag in multimedia voice command and a small frunk.
