Toyota has stepped up the game with the bZ4X lease deal. The monthly cost is now $20 less expensive than the price reported here. However, customers must take advantage of the current promo before the end of September in the US.
The XLE variant is now available for as low as $179 per month for a 36-month contract lease. This is a steal for an electric SUV that has been quietly updated by the manufacturer.
Toyota is hitting this low price thanks to a generous $12,750 TFS Lease Subvention Cash. The lease deal requires a $3,999 down payment, but the carmaker is waiving the security deposit.
The offer is available in select states, including CT, NJ, and NY, so customers should check with their local dealer. Based on credit ratings, not all customers will qualify. Toyota will allow lessees to stack the $500 rebate for military personnel and recent college graduates.
In comparison, the 2025 bZ4X is still more affordable to lease than the Corolla despite being electric and more spacious. The 2025 LE version of the gas-powered car is being offered at $189 per month for 36 months with a $3,999 deposit.
In terms of performance, the 2025 Toyota bZ4X remains competitive at the price range. It produces 214 hp and offers a driving range of up to 252 miles between charges (EPA estimates), with the 71.2 kWh battery charging to 80 percent in just 30 minutes.
Car and Driver praised the bZ4X for its smooth ride and spacious cabin. However, the reviewers found the driving range to be limited and the instrument cluster difficult to see.
