Tesla’s referral bonus program has been revised in the US. Customers can now save $1,000 on three of its most expensive models when they use a referral code.

Tesla has once again adjusted its referral bonus in the US for three models. The automaker will grant customers $1,000 off when they place an order using a referral code.

The affected EVs are Tesla’s most expensive: the Model S, Model X, and Cybertruck. Before this increase, referral codes were only worth $250. For the Model 3 and Model Y, Tesla is offering three months of subscription to Full Self-Driving (Supervised).

The new bonus is half of Tesla’s promo last year, when it offered $2,000 across its entire line-up. However, every cent counts here, as the EV maker recently increased starting prices by $10,000 on the Model S and Model X, and by $15,000 on the Cybertruck. It is also worth considering that the federal tax rebate is set to expire in a matter of weeks.

Additionally, Tesla regularly updates its incentive packages in response to seasonal demand and sales targets. This means the company may revise its offers soon.

The referral bonus can still be stacked with other discounts, including the Military, First Responder, Teacher and Student Purchase and Lyft Driver Purchase programs. Each of these is worth $1,000.

While buyers will get $1,000 off their purchase with codes, referrers will still earn $250 for every successful sale, regardless of the model or product bought.
