Xiaomi's MIUI for TV 3.0 starts rolling out bringing a clearer UI layout and nifty dynamic animations with it
Xiaomi announced MIUI for TV 3.0 back in July and now it seems some users in China have started receiving the update. MIUI for TV 3.0 offers a new refined layout for the user interface, a selection of viewing modes, and dynamic animation effects that may be limited only to Xiaomi Master Series devices.
MIUI for TV 3.0 from Xiaomi has reportedly started rolling out, with some Xiaomi TV owners in China enjoying the refreshed UI and new animations that come with it. The most obvious change is the way images are laid out in the UI. MIUI for TV 3.0 has placed everything in a symmetrical manner, which looks cleaner to the eyes.
Additional information for films and TV shows has been included for the user’s benefit, along with a short list of related recommendations. On top of that, it appears those who own a device from Xiaomi’s Master Series of smart televisions will get to enjoy the dynamic animation effect that is shown while browsing through movie options (such as showing rising burning embers over the promo for Wonder Woman).
It’s not just visual treats for those who can utilize MIUI for TV 3.0 though, as there is also a new mode selection, which includes Adult Mode, Kids Mode, and Office Mode. First-generation TVs from Xiaomi will not get this particular update and the “Ripple” effect (the above-mentioned integrated animations) will only be available for Master Series devices for the time being.
