Xiaomi Redmi Note 11: Budget smartphone announced globally for US$179 with a Snapdragon 680 SoC, Android 11 and MIUI 13
Xiaomi has unleashed the Redmi Note 11, a budget alternative to the Redmi Note 11S. Unlike the Redmi Note 11S, the Redmi Note 11 has a Snapdragon 680, a 6 nm SoC that has a 4G modem. The Snapdragon 680 also has an Adreno 610 GPU and a 2.4 GHz CPU boost clock speed. Xiaomi has paired the Snapdragon 680 with up to 6 GB of RAM, too.
Additionally, the Redmi Note 11 has a 6.43-inch and AMOLED display, matching the Redmi Note 11S. Likewise, the Redmi Note 11 operates at up to 90 Hz with a 1080p native resolution. Xiaomi has also included a 5,000 mAh battery, plus a 50 MP primary camera, along with 8 MP ultra-wide and dual 2 MP cameras. A microSD card reader is on board as well that supports up to 1 TB cards.
The Redmi Note 11 starts at US$179 with 4 GB of RAM and 64 GB of storage. In comparison, Xiaomi will charge US$199 for 128 GB of storage and US$229 if you want 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage. All models come with MIUI 13 and Android 13 pre-installed, for reference. However, Xiaomi will discount all prices by US$20 between January 28 and January 29 on AliExpress. Xiaomi's early bird sale will start at 20:00 UTC on January 28.
