Vivo launches a presence in 2 new European countries, promising forays into 4 more during 2021
Vivo has announced plans to expand further into the European market in 2021. This process has just kicked off with new Romanian- and Czech-language websites, with similar new services for Austria and Serbia to follow. The OEM has teased the release of premium devices with ZEISS-enhanced cameras in these countries as a result.
As the X60s are the only products to launch with this branding to date, the statement is a strong hint that these phones are coming to Vivo's expanded European market in 2021. To briefly recap, the X60 and X60 Pro launched with the Exynos 1080 SoC in addition to their elaborate "gimbal-cam" systems, whereas the X60 Pro+ flagship has the Snapdragon 888 instead.
Then again, Vivo has started out in Czechia and Romania with the less premium Y70, Y20s and Y11s handhelds. Their maker has also recently unveiled its status as the official UEFA smartphone partner for the next 2 World Championships, which, as it may believe, could help build its brand recognition and loyalty in Europe during 2021.
