The Toshiba Tecra Z50-A1503 just meets ultrabook standards, even though the system isn't marketed as one. Compared with the business ultrabook Editors' Choice, the Dell Latitude e7440 Touch, it puts in a good showing, but the Dell system ultimately comes out ahead, due to its MIL-SPEC ruggedization, brighter and clearer In-Plane Switching (IPS) display, and touch screen. Among business-oriented desktop-replacement notebooks, the Tecra Z50-A1503 again puts in a good fight, but the reigning Editors' Choice Apple MacBook Pro ultimately holds on due to its higher-than-1080p HD resolution screen, better performance results on our multimedia benchmark tests, and its two additional hours of battery life. This makes the Tecra Z50-A1503 an attractive and powerful large-screen laptop, well in the pack, nipping at the heels of the Dell Latitude and Apple MacBook Pro.

Toshiba Tecra Z50-A-11H
The Toshiba Tecra Z50-A-11H is one of Toshiba's attempts at ultrabooks. Despite only being 20mm thick, the laptop does not feel fragile at all, due to the magnesium chassis. Toshiba has boldly commented that the laptop even survived a 76 cm drop.
Furthermore, the Toshiba Tecra Z50-A-11H has a rather wide range of ports for an ultrabook. First off, it has 4 USB ports in total with 3 being USB 3.0. It also has VGA and HDMI ports for display purposes. The device comes with a dual core i5 processor providing the necessary processing power for basic needs. It also comes with 4 GB of RAM and 128 GB of SSD drive, which boosts up performance, but sacrifices storage space.
Sadly, the 15.6 inch screen only has a resolution of 1366 by 768 pixels. Pictures and graphics will still be clear but not fantastic. Colors and contrast are also unsatisfactory. However, since the screen doesn't need that much power, the battery life of this laptop is pretty amazing. A single charge in battery saving mode can provide up to 14 hours of usage.
All in all, the Toshiba Tecra Z50-A-11H is made to fit the needs of businessmen. It is light, portable, useful for presentations and is decently fast. It is not suitable for gamers and heavy users.

The Tecra Z50-A-11-H is a competent business-orientated ultraportable, and its battery life is great. The price you pay for this longevity is the sub-standard screen, which has too low a resolution for a laptop of this size, and a touchpad that's hard to avoid striking by accident. If you're after an all-rounder ultraportable laptop, you're better off with the Best Buy-winning Asus Zenbook UX302, while business users are more likely to be won over the Fujitsu Lifebook S904.

Conservative in a positive sense. TThe Tecra Z50 keeps up the virtues of classic premium office laptops: An outstanding screen alongside very good input devices, extensive security features and a decent battery life - the system is quite capable of competing with well-known leaders.

I think it's pretty telling that when I was looking for bright spots to highlight on the Z50, its low temperature was one of the first things that jumped to mind. The Z50 feels like the tech version of phoning it in, because even though it doesn't have a bunch of major flaws, it doesn't stand out in any way.

Modern games should be playable with these graphics cards at low settings and resolutions. Casual gamers may be happy with these cards.
Intel HD Graphics 520: Integrated GPU (GT2) with 24 EUs found on some Skylake CPU models (15 W ULV series).

Intel Core i7: The Intel Core i7 for laptops is based on the LG1156 Core i5/i7 CPU for desktops. The base clock speed of the CPUs is relatively low, but because of a huge Turbo mode, the cores can dynamically overclock to up to 3.2 GHz (920XM). Therefore, the CPU can be as fast as high clocked dual-core CPUs (using single threaded applications) but still offer the advantage of 4 cores. Because of the large TDP of 45 W / 55 W, the CPU is only intended for large laptops.

75.64%: This rating is not earth-shattering. This rating must actually be seen as average, since there are about as many devices with worse ratings as better ones. A purchase recommendation can only be seen with a lot of goodwill, unless it is about websites that generally rate strictly.
