Tapo has released the C560WS Outdoor Pan/Tilt Security Wi-Fi Camera and C260 Pan/Tilt AI Home Security Wi-Fi Camera in countries worldwide. These new models from the TP-Link sub-brand arrive alongside the C246D Dual Lens 2K Pan Tilt Security Camera, which features two 2K 3MP lenses.
Both of these Tapo smart security cameras support a 4K 8MP resolution with an F1.6 aperture. The cameras can pan 360° horizontally and tilt 116° vertically, allowing you to monitor a wider area of your property with smart motion tracking. They also offer facial recognition and can detect pets and vehicles. On top of this, the indoor C260 is said to be able to detect a crying baby. This AI processing is carried out locally, and the company notes that facial recognition and other smart notifications are free features.
These wired smart home cameras offer color night vision and support two-way audio. They support dual-band Wi-Fi 6, with cloud storage via Tapo Care or local storage with a microSD card (not included). Plus, they can be remotely controlled via the TP-Link Tapo app and also work with Amazon Alexa and Google Home. The outdoor model is rated as IP66 dust and water resistant with an operating temperature range of -30 to 60°C (-22 to 140°F).
You can now buy the TP-Link Tapo C560WS Outdoor Pan/Tilt Security Wi-Fi Camera for $98.22/£109.99/€109.90 at Amazon. The C260 Pan/Tilt AI Home Security Wi-Fi Camera is cheaper at $59.99/£62.99/€59.90, and is also available at Amazon.
