TCL has released details on a new event that will introduce some more of its TVs to India. The webpage for this launch's live-stream makes it quite apparent that they will be QLED in nature. Accordingly, the OEM may be going for the higher end of this market with this debut.

TCL India has invited the public to pre-register for a new launch with the hashtag 'GoBeyondYourImagination'. This results in the eligibility to enter a contest for prizes and for potential "early-bird" discounts. The products these deals may correspond to are new TVs: QLED ones, to be precise.

This is made apparent through a placeholder for this event's livestream. Its video clearly teases this technology. Then again, it is not clear which TCL models with this panel type are to be unveiled, or how many for that matter. Nevertheless, it seems the Indian big-screen market may have at least 1 proficient new contender soon.

On that note, TCL may indeed face a challenge in unleashing this new prospect on India. It already has numerous new and established players, including Xiaomi, Nokia, Realme and OnePlus, the latter of which will soon offer both budget and premium (not to mention also QLED) models.

The OEM's ability to measure up may be revealed during its new launch, which is set for June 18, 2020 at 12:30 Indian Standard Time (IST).
