Apple has announced that it will host its next hardware event on April 20, although Siri confirmed the existence of the 'Spring Loaded' event before Apple did. The event will commence at 10:00 am PDT and is expected to showcase several products, including next-generation iPads.

Siri has revealed to several people in the US that Apple is planning to host a new event on April 20. Apple has since confirmed that it will be hosting an event next Tuesday, but this is the first time that Siri has leaked something. We say leaked loosely, mind you, as this could have been a marketing ploy on Apple's part.

Unsurprisingly, Apple has not teased anything about its upcoming event. So far, all we know is that it will be 'Spring loaded', whatever that means. We suspect that Apple is playing on the season here though, rather than hinting that it plans to release something that focuses on springs.

According to several Apple insiders, Apple plans to reveal new iPad Pro models in April. There have been various rumours of late about Apple's next Pro tablets, but Mark Gurman believes that only the 12.9-inch model will adopt a mini LED display. Any new iPad Pros should receive an SoC upgrade, too.

Additionally, Apple is expected to unveil a new iPad mini and the long-awaited AirTags. The AirPods 3 may not be arriving until Q3 or Q4 2021, though.
