Segway unveils E3 Pro electric scooter with limited-time launch discount

Segway has officially launched its latest E3 Pro electric scooter globally. The company’s new mid-range e-scooter comes as a successor to the E2 Pro and brings notable upgrades in terms of battery, speed, and range. Design-wise, the e-scooter looks almost similar to the last-generation model. It features a minimal design finished in a classy dual-tone black and grey shade. 

The Segway E3 Pro e-scooter boasts a 400 W motor that can deliver 800 W peak power, up to 20 kph (~12.4 mph) maximum speed and helps it tackle inclines up to 18%. The battery capacity of the vehicle is now bigger than before. It now features a 368 Wh battery (up from 275 Wh of the E2 Pro), which offers 34 miles (55 km) of range (in eco mode) between charges and takes around 7 hours to recharge the battery from 0 to 100%. 

Dimensionally, the e-scooter measures 45.9 x 22.2 x 48.6 inches (1165 x 563 x 1235 mm) when unfolded and weighs around 40.1 lbs (18.2 kg). By contrast, the latest iteration is slightly lighter than the E2 Pro (curr. available at $349.99 on Amazon), with a 41.4 lbs (18.8 kg) weight. The alloy-made frame can handle payloads of up to 265 lbs (120 kg). 

The rest of the highlights of the E3 Pro include a SegRide Stability Enhancement, TCS (traction control system), Apple Find My support, 4 W headlight, 10” jelly tires, 256 RGB ambient underglow lighting, a 3-inch LED display, a dual suspension system, and a front drum brake and rear electronic brake system. Additionally, it has IPX5 ingress protection. 

The Segway E3 Pro electric scooter is priced at $699.99 and is now available for purchase via Segway’s official website. As a part of the launch offer, the company is offering $100 off on MSRP for a limited time, bringing down the price from $699.99 to $599.99.
