MagyarRoborock S8 new robot vacuum launches soon with €150 discount
The launch date and starting prices for the Roborock S8, Roborock S8+, and Roborock S8 Pro Ultra robot vacuums have been announced for France and Germany. The gadgets will launch in Germany on March 16, and then on March 17, they will arrive in France. In both countries, customers who purchase the Roborock S8 before March 23 will receive a €150 (~US$161) discount off the €699 (~US$748) MSRP, allowing them to buy the device for €549 (~US$588).
It is unclear whether introductory offers will also be available for the S8+ and S8 Pro Ultra models; these are also expected to launch in March, retailing for €899 (~US$962) and €1,499 (~US$1,604), respectively. The Roborock S8 robot vacuum and mopping series was revealed at CES 2023, with up to 6,000 Pa suction power and a 5,200 mAh battery. This makes the gadget suitable for an area of up to 300 m² (~3,229 ft²), allowing it to run for up to 180 minutes on a single charge.
The S8+ comes with an auto dust-emptying docking station, and the range-topping S8 Pro Ultra’s dock can also refill the water tank and wash and dry the mop head. All models feature ultrasonic carpet detection and subsequent mop lifting. The new devices will launch in other EU countries later this month and in the US in April, where the S8 will cost US$749.
