RedMagic has finally unveiled its latest gaming beast, the 10S Pro, in the global markets. RedMagic’s gaming-focused 10S Pro smartphone is equipped with the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version, a new chipset for game graphics upscaling. Other features include a 144 Hz OLED panel, a 50 MP primary sensor, and a big 7,050 mAh battery with 80 W wired charging support.

Last month, RedMagic introduced the 10S Pro series in China. Now, the well-known gaming smartphone manufacturer, RedMagic, has announced the 10S Pro smartphone in the global markets, including the US, UK, EU, Canada, Singapore, UAE, and Mexico. Like its Chinese variant, the RedMagic 10S Pro global variant features the overclocked Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version chipset.

The Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version is Qualcomm’s new flagship System-on-Chip (SoC), essentially an overclocked version of the original SoC, which offers better game graphics upscaling compared to the regular version. The Leading Version Chip boasts a higher clock speed than the Snapdragon 8 Elite. To be more precise, the CPU has 4.47 GHz (up from 4.32 GHz), while the GPU clocks up to 1.2 GHz (up from 1.1 GHz), and the performance of the NPU has been improved by 40%.

The powerful chipset is coupled with up to 24 GB of RAM and up to 1 TB of storage, with no room for storage expansion. It runs on Android 15-based RedMagic OS 10.5 out of the box. Despite being a gaming smartphone, RedMagic packs a decent set of cameras into the 10S Pro, featuring a 50 MP (OV50E) primary camera with optical image stabilization support. The main unit is complemented by a 50 MP (OV50D) ultrawide camera and a 2 MP depth sensor, just for filling the gap. Upfront, there’s a 16 MP in-display camera for selfies and video chats.

The gaming-focused smartphone also features a dedicated RedCore R3 Pro gaming chip, which handles super-resolution upscaling to hit 120 fps in demanding titles and also optimizes cooling for a better gaming experience.

Besides that, the RedMagic 10S Pro has a 6.85-inch BOE AMOLED panel that outputs at 2688 x 1216 pixels resolution with a refresh rate of 144 Hz and a peak brightness of 2,000 nits. The narrow bezel panel is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass and covers 100% of the DCI-P3 color gamut. A massive 7,050 mAh battery powers the internals and supports 80 W wired charging (200 W Ugreen Nexode 25K power bank curr. on $99.99 on Amazon). Unfortunately, the flagship smartphone doesn’t support wireless charging.

The rest of the highlights of the 10S Pro include DTS X-certified stereo speakers, RGB lighting, an improved ICE-X cooling system, 4D tactile feedback, a customizable Magickey, an in-display fingerprint sensor, and shoulder trigger buttons with a 520 Hz touch sampling rate.

Available in matte black, silver transparent, and black transparent colorways, the RedMagic 10S Pro starts at $700/€650/£580 for the base 12 GB + 256 GB model, while the top-end 24 GB + 1 TB model is priced at $1000/€1000/£880. The device will go on open sale starting on June 18. For more details, head over to the official product page of the RedMagic 10S Pro.
