Nubia's RedMagic sub-brand likes to use the best possible hardware on its performance-focused phones. Right now, that's the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version, and that chipset has made its debut on the new RedMagic 10S Pro+, performing quite well in a benchmark test.
As tested by Chinese outlet Xiaobai's Tech Reviews, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version-powered RedMagic 10S Pro+ makes a strong case for being the most powerful smartphone on the market at the moment. On AnTuTu, it flies past every other Android device, recording a total score of 3,313,006.
In comparison, the best-performing device on AnTuTu's official ranking is currently the iQOO 13 with a 2,684,695 score, although the standard RedMagic 10 Pro—second on AnTuTu's chart—scores 3,086,450 in hands-on tests. That discrepancy is down to AnTuTu's official ranking being an average of scores across a month, as opposed to a singular result.
Either way, the RedMagic 10S Pro+ performs about 10% better than the RedMagic 10 Pro, strictly looking at AnTuTu total scores. It's a tad difficult to say how much of that is down to the SoC, however, as the RedMagic 10S Pro+ also features faster memory (LPDDR5T vs LPDDR5X).
On the SoC side, the Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version has its CPU prime cores clocked at 4.47 GHz, versus 4.32 GHz on the standard Snapdragon 8 Elite. That's the same as the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy. The Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version gets the same Adreno 830 running at 1.2 GHz as the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy, indicating that they're effectively the same chipset. The RedMagic 10S Pro+ just outperforms the Galaxy S25 phones mostly thanks to its improved thermals and Samsung's conservative implementation of the Snapdragon 8 Elite for Galaxy.
