Realme is now linked to the launch of a third generation of its Watch, a line of square-faced wearables with an increasingly large range of sports- and health-tracking modes. Its product name has reportedly been certified with regulators in countries where its predecessors tend to be sold.

The Realme Watch series launched as wearables of a reasonable price, even though they have upgraded to features such as IP68 ingress-protection and blood-oxygen measurement over time. Now, they have the potential to do even better in 2022 with the launch of a third generation.

Evidence of this device has recently stacked up in the forms of certifications by the Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) and Singapore's Infocomm Media Development Authority (IMDA) as well as SIRIM in Malaysia (the market in which the Watch 2 series saw its initial debut).

They identify the new product, with the new model number RMW2108, as a "watch with Bluetooth" (apparently to be of a low-power nature) in some cases, while overtly naming it as the Realme Watch 3 in some others. These leaks do not contain hints as to its design or additional specs as yet, although it could be expected to adopt the square-faced and sports-banded look of its forebears.
