NORM 1 smartwatch launches with hidden OLED screen and sleep tracking features
NORM is currently fundraising for its NORM 1 smartwatch on Kickstarter. The wearable has a minimalist design and a hidden OLED display that activates as necessary, like for a notification.
The smartwatch is made from 316L stainless steel and sapphire glass, with a sweat and dust resistant strap. The watch is 3 ATM water-resistant with seven days of battery life and the watch face measures 42 mm (~1.65-in).
The NORM 1 has various health features, such as measuring your heart rate, goal setting, step and calorie tracking. Plus, you can use the watch to monitor your sleep. You can use an accompanying app to calibrate the watch’s dials, customize the OLED display and view data captured by the device, such as activity reports.
Other features of the wearable include email and text notifications, call screening and alarms. NORM also states there is a find your phone feature, though the company gave no details about how this tool would work.
You can pre-order the NORM 1 smartwatch by pledging €175 (~US$182) to the Kickstarter campaign. That’s a 20% saving off the €219 (~US$249) retail price for early birds. Deliveries of the gadget are expected from October 2022. NORM has positioned the watch as a competitor to the Withings Steel HR smartwatch, which has similar health and sleep tracking features.
