The Realme GT series has always been known for offering strong performance at attractive prices. According to the latest rumors from Chinese social network Weibo, the Realme GT Neo 7 is no exception, as the device is said to be equipped with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 in the "Leading Version", which, like the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3 for Galaxy, reaches slightly higher clock frequencies.
Accordingly, the mid-range smartphone should achieve even higher performance than the Realme GT Neo 6 based on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen 3 and be one of the most powerful smartphones on the market - at least as things currently stand. As the predecessor model only launched in May, it is likely to be a while yet before the Realme GT Neo 7 is launched, meaning that the new Snapdragon 8 Gen 4 is likely to be already available by then. After the predecessor model was launched onto the market for the equivalent of around $286, the Realme GT Neo 7 could follow suit with an attractive price-performance ratio.
In addition to the flagship processor, the smartphone is also expected to have a particularly large battery with 100 watt fast charging and a "gaming display", which is likely to mean a frame rate of 120 Hz or 144 Hz. According to rumors, the Realme GT Neo 7 will be launched before the end of the year in order to be positioned as a cheaper alternative to flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy S25, the Oppo Find X8 or the Vivo X200. In order to save costs, the Realme GT Neo 6 has dispensed with a water-resistant housing, wireless charging and a telephoto camera.
