Realme got ambitious with the GT 7 Pro and its top-shelf hardware, although it somewhat failed its "Samsung RealWorld Eco² Display" hype in our testing. That might help explain why the brand is said to focus on other things for the next generation of its Android flagships.
Audio quality is chief among those attributes, according to Digital Chat Station. The typically knowledgeable leaker claims to have heard that Realme has secured the "strongest dual speakers" possible for its upcoming GT 8 Pro (something its fans may or may not have the Redmi K80 Ultra to thank for).
The 8 Pro might debut with Realme UI 7 out of the box: a rumored Android 16 skin now believed capable of generating its own "custom dynamic wallpapers", a cryptic remark that could invite comparisons with the Depth Pro feature predicted to debut in Apple's iOS 26.
The smartphone and its allegedly updated OS are now thought to debut with its new Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 platform by the end of October 2025.
