OnePlus Open 2: New leak shows the cut-down camera bump of the foldable phone

The Oppo Find N5 is about to take the crown from Honor Magic V3 and launch as the new thinnest foldable phone in the market. As the company teased, the upcoming folding smartphone, which is also expected to launch as the OnePlus Open 2 in certain regions, will reportedly measure around 9.2 mm when folded.

In the unfolded state, the OnePlus Open 2 is expected to measure about 4 mm thick. Past leaks and teasers have already given a closer look at this soon-to-be thinnest foldable phone, and now, a new leak gave another look at the display and camera bump of the device.

As the leaked images show, Oppo has cut down the camera bump of the Find N5 to make the overall phone thinner than the predecessor. Regarding the screen, the freshly leaked images corroborate the past reports about the outside display being flat.

The reduced camera bump, paired with the flat display and right-angled frame, makes the OnePlus Open 2 appear pretty sleek in the photos. It's also shown to flaunt a frosted finish, and besides these, the new leaked images show the previously reported side-mounted fingerprint scanner and OnePlus' iconic alert slider.

Moreover, the leaked images show that the thin foldable phone sports a dual-speaker system. Other rumored specs of the OnePlus Open 2 include a 2K inner display with a 120Hz refresh rate, up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage, a 50MP primary camera on the back with OIS, and a 5,700mAh battery with 80W fast charging support (130W Ugreen Nexode power bank curr. $59.99 on Amazon).
