OnePlus Nord 2T: €399 smartphone unveiled with a 90 Hz AMOLED display, a MediaTek Dimensity 1300 chipset and 80 W SUPERVOOC charging
OnePlus has announced the Nord 2T, a gradual improvement over last year's Nord 2. As expected, the Nord 2T retains its predecessor's 6.43-inch AMOLED display that outputs at 2,400 x 1,080 pixels and 90 Hz. According to OnePlus, it protects the display with Gorilla Glass 5 and has sought HDR10+ certification. For reference, the Nord 2T measures 159.1 x 73.2 x 8.2 mm and weighs 190 g.
Additionally, OnePlus equips the Nord 2T with the MediaTek Dimensity 1300, plus LPDDR4X RAM and UFS 3.1 storage. Also, the Nord 2T contains dual-cell 2,250 mAh batteries for a combined 4,500 mAh, which it can recharge at up to 80 W using Oppo's SUPERVOOC wired charging technology. Moreover, OnePlus equips the Nord 2T with 50 MP primary (Sony IMX766), 8 MP ultra-wide, 2 MP mono and 32 MP front-facing (IMX615) cameras.
At launch, OnePlus will offer the Nord 2T in two memory configurations, starting at €399. According to the company, the handset will be pre-orderable on its website from today and from third-party retailers as of May 24. The Nord 2T's colour options and memory configuration options are as follows:
