The OnePlus Ace 5 was released last year in China, positioned as a performance-oriented mid-range smartphone. It was also launched in the global market as the OnePlus 13R. Now the release of the OnePlus Ace 6 seems imminent as it has received 3C certification in China.
The 3C certification reveals that the OnePlus Ace 6 has model number "PLQ110." Additionally, the certification suggests support for 120W fast charging. For comparison, the OnePlus Ace 5/ OnePlus 13R supported 80W wired charging.
Not just the charging speed, but also the battery capacity is rumored to be increased with the OnePlus Ace 6. According to a previous leak, the Ace 6 will have a 7,800mAh battery, up from 6,415mAh on its predecessor. Leak suggests that the Ace 6 will weigh 214 grams.
The smartphone is said to be powered by the Snapdragon 8 Elite chipset with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of internal storage. It may also feature a 165Hz display. Additionally, the Ace 6 is rumored to come in three color options, including black, white, and silver.
The phone has no confirmed release date yet. However, it may be unveiled alongside the flagship OnePlus 15, expected to be released on October 27 in China. Subsequently, it is likely to make its global debut as the OnePlus 15R.
