Roborock has unveiled another robot vacuum in its new Saros flagship series: the Saros 10R. This model shares many similarities with the new Saros Z70, with both models soon to be on show at CES 2025.
The Saros 10R offers up to 19,000Pa suction power, slightly lower than the 22,000Pa suction power offered by the Z70. It uses the same DuoDivide Main Brush, FlexiArm Riser Side Brush and Dual Spinning Mops to clean your floors. Plus, it can climb over obstacles measuring up to 4 cm (~1.6 inches) tall thanks to the AdaptiLift Chassis. The Saros 10R is one of the slimmest in Roborock’s international range, at 7.98 cm (~3.1 inches) tall, and offers the new VertiBeam Lateral Obstacle Avoidance technology. This is accompanied by StarSight Autonomous System 2.0, a combination of ToF sensors and RGB cameras, to navigate your home efficiently.
Plus, customers can opt to buy the Multifunctional Dock 4.0, with upgraded smart cleaning features. These include washing the mops with hotter water, up to 80°C (~176°C), and the ability to detach the mop before vacuuming carpets. On top of this, the dock supports new fast charging technology, which is said to fully recharge the robot in 2.5 hours. Thanks to an upcoming OTA update, the robot vacuum will support the Matter 1.4 protocol for integration with Apple Home; it is already compatible with Amazon Alexa and Google Home.
Roborock is expected to launch the Saros 10R robot vacuum with the Saros 10 in the US and EU in January. Both models are said to retail for $1,599.99 in the US, though the European pricing has yet to be confirmed. In North America, this puts these Saros 10 models at the same price as the recently released Qrevo Edge (available at Amazon).
