Aqara is showing the Panel Hub S1 Plus at CES 2025. The smart home device was first seen at IFA 2024 last September and has now been announced for the global market.
The Panel Hub S1 Plus is described as a premium smart home control center. It features a large 6.9-inch touch display with a 1,440 x 720 px resolution. The US version is seen with a speaker grille at the bottom, a feature not seen in the EU version. According to Aqara, the wired device easily replaces an existing light switch in your home, sitting flush against your wall. You can use the Panel Hub S1 Plus to control up to two regular lights for simultaneous adjustments.
Plus, you can use the display to control other connected smart home devices, like the Aqara Smart Lock U100 (curr. $144.99 at Amazon). For example, you can switch them on or off, triggering a preset scene or starting a routine. The hub supports dual-band Wi-Fi and can act as a Zigbee hub or Matter bridge. The Aqara Panel Hub S1 Plus EU will launch later in January, though the price has yet to be revealed. Later this year, the Aqara Panel Hub S1 Plus US is expected to be released, though no exact date has been given.
