The Moondrop Space Travel 2 Ultra earbuds feature patented planar drivers and AI-powered noise cancellation, delivering Hi-Res LDAC audio over Bluetooth 6.0 with ultra-low gaming latency. Users can share favorite EQ settings through the smartphone app.

Moondrop has launched the Space Travel 2 Ultra (MD-TWS-043)—high-resolution earbuds with AI-powered active noise suppression. They have an MSRP of $39.99 and will appear shortly in the Moondrop store on Amazon and at authorized distributors.

The Space Travel 2 Ultra earbuds utilize patented 13 mm annular single-magnetic planar drivers with a full-frequency THD under 0.05%, according to Moondrop. The drivers utilize dual N55 magnets along with an ultra-thin CCWA coil to drive dual-suspension diaphragms for a wide frequency range that is compatible with high-resolution audio reproduction.

The earbuds support the Hi-Res LDAC audio codec in addition to the standard quality SBC and AAC audio codecs over Bluetooth 6.0 connections. They can be used in low-latency game mode with a 55 msec lag when gaming. The active noise reduction leverages AI in a feedforward system to reduce surrounding noise better than the Space Travel 1 Ultra, according to internal tests.

The earbuds have a runtime of up to 7 hours with ANC on and a total of 24 hours with the charging case. The smartphone app provides access to user-shared EQ profiles and customization of the earbud settings.
