MagHub 3: Versatile tablet stand expands the iPad Pro by up to eight ports
In spring, Invzi crowdfunded its new MagHub 3 on Kickstarter. For some time now, the practical stand for tablets, which can add a range of connections to an iPad Pro if required, has also been available to order directly from the manufacturer.
The Invzi MagHub 3 is available in two different versions. As a classic iPad stand, the MagHub 3 Stand without hub function costs $79.99. The version with an integrated hub in the form of an 8-in-1 USB-C docking station is priced at $129.99. At present, the product cannot be found at other retailers. Since the manufacturer also sells some of its products via Amazon, a launch may still follow there.
The Invzi MagHub 3 is a practical stand for tablets. It can hold devices with a screen diagonal of 4.7 to 12.9 inches with its clamp. An Apple Pencil can be magnetically attached to one of the aluminum holders. Thanks to a total of three joints, the two-part arm can be adjusted in a variety of ways to provide the best possible view of the clamped tablet in portrait or landscape format.
Even more exciting is the version of the Invzi MagHub 3 with an integrated 8-in-1 USB-C docking station, which is designed to work with an iPad Pro and adds numerous ports to the Apple tablet: there are eight in total. Specifically, there is the HDMI port with support for 4K at 60 Hz, two USB-A and one USB-C with a data transfer rate of up to 5 Gbit/s, one USB-C PD 100W for the power supply as well as a 3.5 mm audio port and a card reader for SD and MicroSD.
