MIUI 12.5 Enhanced: Xiaomi announces global rollout starting with the Mi 11, Mi 10, and Mi 10T series
MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition was unveiled earlier this month as a performance-based incremental upgrade on regular MIUI 12.5. Since then, Xiaomi has rolled out the update to a number of its devices, but only in China. MIUI 12.5 Enhanced is finally coming to global units, however.
Xiaomi has now officially announced the start of the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced Edition rollout globally. In a post on the MIUI Forums, the company confirmed the start of the rollout to Global MIUI users, highlighting MIUI 12.5 Enhanced's improvements to system performance and efficiency. The list of devices in the first batch of the update rollout reads as follows:
- Mi 11
- Mi 11 Ultra
- Mi 11i
- Mi 11X Pro
- Mi 11X
- Mi 10T Pro
- Mi 10T
- Mi 10 Pro
- Mi 10
The Mi 10 Ultra is missing from that list as it was never released globally. According to Xiaomi, the rollout will begin in Q4. Reports from a few weeks ago claimed a September release but they have now been proven to be a bit inaccurate, as the rollout will begin in October at the earliest. Other devices will get the MIUI 12.5 Enhanced update in subsequent batches. We'll be sure to keep you updated on that.
