Lenovo Wireless VoIP Headset: New Microsoft Teams certified headset debuts with 30 hours of battery life and Bluetooth Multipoint connectivity
Lenovo has introduced the Wireless VoIP Headset, an accessory presented alongside the USB-C Dual Display Travel Dock. According to Lenovo, it intends the Wireless VoIP Headset to be used in hybrid work environments where people need added flexibility and autonomy. To that effect, the headset is Microsoft Teams certified.
In saying that, the Wireless VoIP Headset should be optimised for all unified communications platforms and comes with a USB Type-A Bluetooth Audio Receiver to maximise compatibility with devices. Additionally, the headset supports Bluetooth Multipoint connectivity, allowing you to keep it connected to a paired smartphone and computer simultaneously. Moreover, the headset boasts up to 30 hours of talk time from a single charge, although manufacturer estimates tend to overshoot real-world runtimes.
Lenovo adds that it has included replaceable memory foam ear cups, touch controls and an adjustable microphone. Unfortunately, the company has not shared any information about the drivers it has used yet, though. The Wireless VoIP Headset will be available in April 2024 in the US for $99.99. Conversely, the headset will not reach Europe until a month later, costing €99.
