DJI has had a rather busy week by its standards, having unveiled the RS 4 Mini, Osmo Mobile 7 and Osmo Mobile 7P (curr. $149 on Amazon) within 48 hours of each other. Leaker Igor Bogdanov has now turned his attention to a pair of action cameras that DJI is rumoured to be releasing later this year.
The pair in question are the Osmo 360 and Osmo Action 6, which have surfaced a few times in the last couple of weeks. For reference, the Osmo 360 is expected to line up as an alternative to the 360-degree action camera like the Insta360 X4 and the GoPro Max. Incidentally, GoPro refreshed the latter earlier this week as the Max (2025) with minor hardware improvements.
By contrast, the Osmo Action 6 will rival conventional action cameras, such as the Hero 13 Black. Its release will also put the Action 5 Pro in an unusual position, though. On the one hand, the Osmo Action 6 relegates the Osmo Action 5 Pro to being a last-generation device. On the other hand, there are no suggestions that DJI will stop selling the Osmo Action 5 Pro under a year after its initial release. The pair seem set to be sold alongside each other, at least in some capacity.
Release dates for the Osmo Action 6 and Osmo 360 remain unclear for now. The publication of new leaked testing shots indicates that DJI is a way off from officially presenting either action camera for the time being. The same goes for the Osmo Nano, about which even less is known than the Action 6 or the 360.
