The Corsair One was originally designed as an extremely small yet powerful gaming PC. However, with the release of the One i500, the case volume increased by 80% to 21.7 litres. Despite expectations, independent testing quickly dispelled any hope that the larger case would improve cooling performance. Corsair is now finally attempting to address these concerns.
The new Corsair One i600 has received an upgrade to an Intel Core Ultra 9 285K (approx. $582 on Amazon) and an Nvidia GeForce RTX 5080. With a TDP of 360 watts, the graphics card consumes 20% less power than the GeForce RTX 4090 in the previous Corsair One model, which should generate less heat for the cooling system to manage. In the i600, both the processor and graphics card are fitted with individual AIO liquid coolers, each featuring a 240 mm radiator.
Nonetheless, testing is required to determine whether this cooling setup – unlike the one in the Corsair One i500 – can dissipate enough heat from the system. The Corsair One i600 boasts 64 GB of memory, two 2 TB SSDs, a Z890 motherboard, and a 1,000-watt SFX 80 Plus Gold power supply. Measuring 30 x 18.5 x 39.1 cm (11.8 x 7.3 x 15.4 in), the case includes two USB-A ports, one USB-C port, and a 3.5 mm audio jack on the front panel.
